Terms of Service

1. The pilot service

Mitr is an AI-assisted meal planning pilot service for Indian urban households. It generates daily meal plans, sends recipes to your household cook via WhatsApp, and improves over time using your feedback. Access is currently limited to invited households.

Eligibility. The pilot is open to adults aged 18 and over who are the primary decision-maker for their household. By joining, you confirm you meet this requirement.

AI-generated content. Meal plans are generated by an AI and may occasionally contain errors or omissions. Always review plans before preparing meals. Mitr is not a nutritionist, dietitian, or medical service — do not treat its suggestions as professional dietary or medical advice.

2. Pilot participation

Access to Mitr during this pilot period is by invitation only. We may adjust, pause, or wind down the pilot at any time, and will give reasonable notice where possible. Your participation helps us build a better service — we may use anonymised feedback and ratings to improve the quality and relevance of meal plans.

3. WhatsApp messaging

By joining Mitr, you consent to receive WhatsApp messages from us, including daily meal plans, recipe updates, and pilot communications.

Your cook or helper.Before sharing your cook’s or helper’s phone number with us, you must obtain their consent to receive WhatsApp messages from Mitr. By providing their contact details, you confirm that consent has been obtained and that they understand messages will arrive in their preferred language.

You may stop receiving messages at any time by replying STOP to any Mitr message. To request deletion of your household data, please contact us separately — see Section 9.

4. Your responsibilities

• Provide accurate household information, including any food allergies or dietary restrictions.
• Obtain consent from your cook or helper before sharing their contact details with us.
• Review AI-generated meal plans before preparing or serving dishes to your household.
• Use the pilot service only for personal household meal planning.
• Not attempt to reverse-engineer, abuse, or disrupt the service.

5. Disclaimer of warranties

Mitr is provided “as is” as a pilot service. We do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or nutritionally complete. Meal plans are AI-generated suggestions, not professional dietary guidance.

Allergies and medical needs. If any member of your household has a food allergy, intolerance, or a medical dietary requirement, please review every meal plan carefully before cooking. Mitr uses the information you provide to try to avoid restricted ingredients, but cannot guarantee accuracy in every case. Do not serve any dish to a household member with a known allergy without first verifying the ingredients yourself.

6. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Izumi Proptech Private Limited shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your participation in the Mitr pilot.

7. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Bangalore, Karnataka, India.

8. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of meaningful changes via WhatsApp before they take effect. Continuing to use the service after notification means you accept the updated Terms.
